Purchasing timber demands personal commitment. For us, checking the raw material begins in the forest where forest, owners and forest superintendents prepare the raw timber according to our requirements.
Immediately after felling, the qualitytested raw material is freed of bark and bast with special debarkers at our timberworks and for predrying is then exposed to wind and sun on drying facilities. Heated drying chambers are provided for the wet season. Timber can only be impregnated if it has the correct moisture value for impregnation.
